Welcome! Whether you are here because you have chosen to place your baby for adoption or you are adopting a baby I am happy you are here and I hope we can work together. My adoptive services are as follows.
Adoption Doula Support for the Birth Mother:
- In person consultation session, FREE of charge.
- 2- prenatal appointments prior to childbirth to provide education, practice comfort measures for labor, and build your labor support plan.
- Emotional and physical support continuously through labor and after delivery.
- 100% availability to you and your partner by phone, text, and email throughout your pregnancy for emotional support.
- 24x7 On-call labor support starting @ 37 wks until your baby is born.
- Two postpartum home visits after birth. Additional postpartum support available as requested.
I am also available to provide evidence based information on all your options to assist you in making your decision.
Adoption Doula Support for the Adoptive Family:
- In person consultation session, FREE of charge.
- Two prenatal appointments prior to childbirth to prepare for your newborn to come home and go over the birth mothers birth plan and wishes if you are attending the birth.
- Customized postpartum plans for every family.
- Three Postpartum visits to help you with bonding, feeding, newborn education, parenting education, household support, meal planning and light housework.
- Additional emotional and physical support for a successful transition to parenthood available
I am also available to help adoptive parents in the research and evaluation of their adoption options. The price would be determined upon the amount of hours needed.
